OLN vs. ESPN

I just got done showing a friend who has never seen paintball before OLN's Dynasty/Legion World Cup coverage. He was glued to the set on the edge of his seat!

I tend to agree with most that the ESPN coverage was lacking, but I absolutely LOVE the OLN show--they did an awesome job and had great commentary (at least they knew the players names rather than calling them "red player"). Who else caught this and what do you think?

If we get more coverage like the OLN coverage I think the sport can take some large bites out of the viewing public.

Or you could just keep buying your daily dose from the spotty kid behind the bikesheds...you can afford it.

i mean umm... ye dude the OLN was awesome!!!

makes it so much easier to tell which player is under which mask rather then:

comentator "..and that was an wicked mugging by the red team"

You on the edge of your seat: "NO **** SHERLOCK HE'S ON THE RED TEAM, BECAUSE I HAVE A ****ING BLACK AND WHITE T.V, YOU MORRON"

There was really only one point on the OLN show where the announcers didn't know a player's name when they were looking at him....well, they knew his name, but it was a Russian player and his last name looked something like "Pap;shzo;hv;iuhhgrzversgrgr$$$$$;aki ". The announcer just said "Yeah, your guess is as good as mine." Quite funny.

commentary on PB Vids sucks!

Huntington beach 2k3 dynasty v ton tons was just silly, all they do is repeat each other.

"Opie on the left! Move of the tournament" "yeah move of the tournament rocky!" "proving he deserves to play on that team" "outstanding move, move of the tournament!"

Or when they rant about dynasty losing game 1 is like "how dare this french team beat dynasty on home soil!"
