As sum of u will know a'v only been playing paintball for 6 months, therefore i have never had the chance to see Lang or LaSoya play.

i was lookin through the trash talkin forum and seen a post about who would u want with u on a 2v2 Lang or LaSoya! And most people said they would take Lang.
Wot i want to know is wot makes Oli Lang so damm good? I know he is good cause i have heard alot about him, but i want to know wot it is he does that makes him stand out, or do I have to see it to know exactly wot it is?

I can't comment on the broad spectrum, but one thing I've noticed from watching a few times....

He seems to have an amazing ability to make his way to the opposite side of a bunker without being noticed, chill there, and then mark your back.

When I saw them play some Am team at HB, I think he was to the back players in about 45 seconds...the last two guys didn't seem to have a clue he was right on top of them.

Something else I have noticed watching Dynasty in general, and please anyone comment on this. The way they play seems a bit different than a number of teams, best I can say it is they're always ready to move. For example, when they played Naughty dogs, the front guys seemed to be on their feet more than the typical players. It seems to me more common to find pics of them standing up looking for the next push, too.

Lang-There are loads of quality US players but Oli Lang is just awsome.He has the abilty to single handedly destroy teams,ive only seen him play a few times but he just gets up and pulls off amazing run thru's leaving teams in bits,watching him run to the fifty at Campaign while sweetspotting the other teams back guys on the break just impressed me BIG time.

I also think that because hes such a young,dedicated and great player to watch means he gets alot of recognition from PGI,I know i look up to him alot and think hes deserves every bit of fame/respect he gets.

is mak D thatchris used t destroy teams on one move much like our Mr Lang is doin at the mo they have the ability to c the moves and take them and do **** most others don;t even think about!!!!!!!!

Tell u somthing if i could have either at the top of ther game it b my man chris i've watched him destroy teams off the bat !! what ever people say both these boy got some serious natural talent

The most tactical team i have ever played against - i remember getting to the 40 and started snap shooting with their back right player, who im sure was hanging sloppy out of his bunker on purpous to make me focus on him whilst the rest of dynasty ran round and shot the **** out of us!

In a word....

The boy has pure talent.

I played against him at Toulouse last year, it 2v2 and I'm feeling fairly settled - after all we're holding Dynasty! Then your boy Lang just rips us to pieces. His timing is fantastic, he shot me 3 times whilst running (all shots within 3 inches of each other) from about 10mtrs away. Whats even nicer is that he came up to us after and thanked us for the game!

And, although its in the wrong posting, I'll add my 2p worth in the Lang/La Soya debate. Tell you what, I'd step back, put the two of them in together and watch probably the best 2-man team you'll ever have the privilege of watching!
