'Oldskool newbie needs advice'

Hi everyone, I've just recently got back to paintball after an 8 year-ish hiatus (I was playing when Cockers and IR3s were cutting edge!), and basically just want to take up sup'air again and play tourneys.

I'm looking for advice and as much info as possible on rules and regulations of tournament play in the UK, regarding anything and everything. Also what are the tourney rules on things like full length leg padding (ie. Empire ground pounder pro slider pants) and trunk padding, like the vests by Dye, Valken and Proto.

Also, I have a functioning Euro angel speed in good condition which I want to use as a back up, and to get back into sup'air with, can anybody give me a heads up if they have, or know anyone who has a decent spares kit, or set of spares for this marker- it would be handy to have enough to keep it going for a while, while I save up for new gear.

Are rugby boots ok footwear for modern fields?

well i dont know what the bps limit was back then, but most uk tournaments follow the 10.5 bps millenium ramping rule @ 300fps

With regard to football boots, as long as they're not metal studs, you should be ok I would think.

I would have thought someone sells an up to date board for the euro? Or even if it could be flashed depending on whats in there and how old it is
