Older ballers - are you out there?

After reading the thread about the youngest player at campaign I'm really feeling that at 32 I'm getting on a bit. How many other guys here are "older" ballers (and what age are you)?

41 years old, & on my second paintball "career". But Sid Spittal (ex-Preds) was playing for Diablo Old Sods & he must be at least in his late 60's!

you guys may be reaching 30,40 or 50 but what have ya learned?

Its guys like u who can be good/great captains of teams without even playing.
You never know you could create a great team.

Pass on your knowledge for us young-uns

ps: im 17

44 and have been playing for 15 years, and i an still crap but love it.

If any other boring old farts want to talk about Splatmasters, 12gms, Hookwood etc come and find me at the next tourney.

Perhaps we could bore the young kids off the field?

So close to 37 it hurts.... been playing 6 months...

The Campaign Cup was my first 'real' tourney butm given the number of 'greys' I saw playing, and given that a few of my <ahem> younger team mates were complaining of feeling tired and knackered I hope I'm good for a few years yet...

Second Time Around
I'm with you Liz - I just turned 38 and am starting out on my second pballing 'career'.

Just wish we'd has air ball 14 years ago...ho, hum.

It great to know that I can keep up with the young-uns on the field, and I hear what you're saying Ices - I think may have something there! My 12 year old son is badgering me to help him get into the sport (especially after watching the Pros on Sunday - whoo-hoo!!), so maybe us 'greys' can help this age group on...

Regards,
Paul.

old ageand treachery

41, good knees! My 14 year old son got me into this and I'm having a great time (read: spending lots of money). I see quite a few 'old timers' out at my local field.:D
