Hello, old timer here, it's my first question on the forum. I have a technical question. If anyone remembers or owns an F1 from FAST? They had aluminum body. My question is about the welding process used on these guns, it was a very fine bead. Laser maybe? If someone knows how the gun is welded please drop a note. Thanks

I know this is a late reply, but in the early 1990's, "all" welding would have been done by hand.
Laser welding wasn't available and any form of robotic welding would have been too cost prohibitive on such a low volume item as a marker.
I'm afraid the amazingly accurate, ultra neat welding that your looking at was carried out by one of our little far eastern cousins, who simply produce the most amazing hand welding in the world ! (y)
