2015 Dates:
Round 1 - 12th April 2015 - Holmbush
Round 2 - 19th July 2015 - Holmbush
Round 3 - 8th November 2015 - Holmbush
***2nd November 2014***
The fourth and final Old School 7 Man event took place on the 2nd November. Six teams came out to battle it out, 7 on 7, on woodland tournament fields. The final standings saw Dark Posture come out on top to win the final event of the year. The winners circle this year saw many teams making their way onto the podium which is a testament to the level of competition coming out to play these events.
The original idea for bringing ‘old school’ woodland events back to life came from the event organisers, Twizz and Dave, at the end of 2013. Initially they planned to run one event in 2014 to stimulate interest in woodland tournament paintball. One event quickly became two, and before they knew it they were running four events.
Those four events would not have been possible without the support of the various teams that came out to play and the three sites that played host throughout 2014. In many cases, teams and players who had previously stopped playing paintball came back together in order to be a part of these events.
Looking ahead for 2015, it does look like there is demand for more Old School 7 Man events to take place and Twizz and Dave are working to secure dates for further events next year.
Keep an eye on www.facebook.com/oldschool7man or the P8ntballer forums where more details will be released.
Once again, thanks to all those who supported Old School 7 man in 2014.
