On 2 December 2012, Steve Bull will be hosting a 5-man woodland tournament at his Wakefield site, home of the famous "Staargate" scenario game.
The format is over 30's only, 5 man, limited paint - 2 pots and a hopper per player per game. Birth certificates/passports/driving licences will be checked as proof of age - alternatively, a note from your mum will do.
Firing mode will be SEMI AUTO only - no ramping. People caught breaking this rule will be given a vigorous rubdown by Holly Willoughby. Sorry, I meant Bully.
Entry is £20 per player, with a £10 deposit payable in advance. Paint is BYO. There will be trophies for 1st & 2nd, which are pretty unique - it's difficult to get hold of a trophy in the shape of a guy in a wheelchair holding a paintball gun.
I understand that a leading member of the industry will be donating a few choice items as prizes!
Teams will be picked on the day, so you may find yourself playing with someone bald, short-sighted or going through a mid-life crisis. Wow, I just described myself.
So, it's a bit like "The Expendables", but with paintball guns, as most of these players were famous in the 90's.
