I brought a second hand cocker a while back and was wondering how old it is, the serial number on the body is in the low 9000's. can anyone help? ta

Is it an old Belsales one ? I've had mine just under a year from new and the number on it is 153657 !!! So I would say yours is way way old !!!!
when i said brought a while back, im talkin 7-8 years ago, now thats nearly as old as some of the newbies. just trying to get some sort of idea how old it was before i brought it.

if it is vert feed, it isnt really that old, however if it is one of the side feed cockers, it could be pretty old, iam pretty sure that they do not make side feed ones now ? i have a 2k3 vert feed cocker the casting / block numer as it were is 152522
