After running trips to Oklahoma D-Day for the past three years running, Shoreline have decided to take a year off in 2010.
There are several reasons behind not going next year. Feedback from players at the moment is that many are feeling the squeeze financially. Whilst 14 players signed up for our recent Euro Tour, any other year would have seen many more. Also, with Tim due to be somewhere else rather hot and sandy for six months next year and Mrs Wickham threatening divorce if Lee try's to pull the "Oklahoma is a perfect family holiday destination" trick again - all in all it makes sense to skip next year.
However, with the words 'clouds' and 'silver linings' ringing in our ears - it does mean that we all have longer to save for the 2011 trip.
So - Shoreline are pleased to announce the 2011 Oklahoma D-Day trip:
Each and every year we've been able to offer more and more value. 2011 will be no different. Priced just £25 more than the 2009 trip, 2011 will see ALL travellers being accommodated at a hotel, with use of hire cars and...........food will be included!

Trip will include:
Return flights from London Gatwick.
Team T-shirts
All internal United States transfers
Hire car per 4 people
Hotel accommodation (within 10 minutes of site) per 2 people
Event ticket
Site entry band
On-site RV base camp for storage of kit and cold drinks
Breakfast each day during the event
Afternoon meal (served at the the end of each days game) during the event
Final night room at luxury hotel per 2 people
Trip will not include:
Paint
Drinks
Hire car fuel
In a change from previous years, instead of us all staying on-site roughing it in RV's, we've decided to accommodate all travellers at a local hotel. This way you can enjoy the event in luxury. A hire car per 4 people means that everyone can come and go as they please. We will however have a team RV on-site. This is critical to ensure that we all have somewhere to stage, somewhere to store cool drinks and somewhere to store our kit instead of dragging it all back and forth from the hotel.
A massive change for 2011 will be that food is included in this trip. All customers will have their breakfasts paid for at the hotel before they leave for site each day. Then, as all players arrive at our RV base at the end of each game, dinner will be served. As travellers from previous trips will tell you - this will save you an incredible amount of money and as a service will be very much appreciated as after finishing a game, everyone is too exhausted to even think about cooking. Leave that to us!
We're confident that the 2011 trip will offer even more value than ever before. We've looked at trips to Europe - but spending a grand in four days just doesn't compare when for the same money you can have 10 days in America at the biggest and best paintball event on the planet. For a negligible increase in price from two years earlier, each traveller will receive significantly increased value with food, hire cars and hotel accommodation all included.
Payments:
We will begin to take bookings and the first payment in February 2010. The initial payment will be £250 - this is to ensure that all people are serious about going. There after the monthly payments will be just £37.50 per month. The final two payments in March and April 2011 will be £250 and £200 respectively leaving you another couple of months to save for spending money.
So - for the price of a mobile phone contract (£37.50 per month) you could be attending Oklahoma D-Day 2011 - the worlds biggest paintball event. 10 days of paintball heaven in the baking Oklahoma summer sun.
You've also got 18 months to save up for the final two payments of £250 + £200.

2011 will once again feature the now infamous Full Auto Shoot. Grab yourself an AK, M16, M60 - whatever, and let rip. Not to be missed!
Why walk the field when you can fly it? For about a tenner, you can take a helicopter ride over the D-Day event area. Great fun.
Four and half thousand players from all over the planet. 42 tanks. 12 landing craft. Two in-game helicopters (not scrap ones - real flying ones!), one spotter plane (again, they use real planes to relay info on the oppositions movements) and countless breakfast burritos!
As with previous years, payments are non-refundable and each traveller is responsible for insuring their trip.
