Oklahoma D-Day 2009 - book here!

It's that time again........

For the third year in a row we will be taking a group of UK paintballers to the worlds largest paintball event – Oklahoma D-Day.

We don’t need to sell the event itself – just Google it. But if a dozen landing craft, 40 tanks, 4500 players, helicopters swooping over the game field, spotter planes and thousands of yanks dressed as Germans to shoot at doesn’t ring your bell – then maybe you need a new bell!

How do I book?

Attached to this post is a booking form. Complete it and email it back to dday@shorelinepaintball.com . We will then call you back on the telephone number you have provided.

We’ll take a £200 payment over the phone from your credit/debit card. We will then email you a payment schedule so that you’ll know when future payments will be made.

What about insurance?

All payments are non-refundable. You are responsible for insuring your trip incase you are unable to attend.

You are also responsible for your own medical insurance.

What’s the event like?

Take a look at the links at the top of this page – they will give you a fair amount of information and an idea of what to expect. If you have any questions – post them in this forum and players who have attended in previous years will be more than happy to help you (as will we of course!).

What about my kit – will it get through customs?

Leave that to us – it’s what you are paying us for. All your have to do is arrive at the airport with your paintball gun and a pair of spare pants (and maybe your passport!). Before you go you’ll receive an info pack that covers absolutely everything you’ll need to know from what kit to pack, visa requirements, game rules, excursions to the price of a dance at the local gentleman’s club.

Are there any excursions?

As in previous years – the week is jammed packed with activities. You can do as much or as little as you like. The full auto shoot is amazing and there are some really good training courses, tech classes, competitions, parades and general mayhem ongoing all week.

What sort of people go on the trip?

In the last two year ages have ranged from late teens (Timboy) to early fifties (Wickham). Some people have been complete paintball novices, others are some of the best known players in the UK.

It’s not only a boys thing – each year the girls who have come have had a great time.

Basically, if you like sun and paintball – you’ll love it!
