Ok, i need help....i've just been programming ready to download to a EEPROM for use in a board....which gun? I haven't decided yet :D But im stuck on what dwell and drop setting to use...at the moment i have them both set at 30ms but i feel that is a bit long.

At the moment, this can only be used in a single solenoid marker...so bushmaster or something, but i have no idea what to have for these settings :(

So, any help will be appreciated :D :D :D

need to get hold of Tank for an exit
Philip, the dwell on my cocker is set to 7ms, I thing it all depends on the marker (I know that different racegripped cockers have various different settings depending on the hardware).

Try anywhere between 30 and about 5 - but try adding something to the board to make it adjustable ;)

Can anyone give a quick rundown of dwell and what it pertains to?
K, in my cocker, it's the time that the electronics wait in between starting the firing sequence (ie, the gun going bang) and the beginning of the re-cocking cycle, if it's set too short, the bolt will begin to open before the gas has vanished off down the barrel, causing nasty blowback - if it's timed correctly, you can even get a bit of "bolt-suck/ball-suck" where the gas vanishing off down the barrel leaves a slightly low pressure behind it, which can help suck balls into the breach.

Or something ;)
