I'd be up for it. Most of the American games seem to be 26 hour scenario/role-playing games.This all sounds like exremely hard work(for you) I suspect the Brits are a bit too conservative for the roleplaying malarkey, too.
I'd be happy with a big game, 24 hours or more, with teams getting points for holding flag bases.

How about So Solid Crew - an event that's organised for ages and then cancelled at the last minute due to a mysterious shooting at a previous tournament?

Or

Buddha's Blitz - a big game centralising on the P8ntballer BB geek himself directing super, reverse, flip, blitz plays including full contact and large 80's style shoulder pads... Helmets optional but goggles mandatory.

Or

Raid the cookie jar where Sparklie's Kitchen is under attack and it's up to the A-Team to protect the pilsbury dough boy?

Anyway, that's my creative juices used up (disgusting)... I'm sure that Cook's could come up with some highly imaginative scenarios based on some of the posts he has made in the past.

I think an game with a playing time of 18 hours spread over 1 day (start at 12 noon, play till 2 am start again at 8 am till noon) this gives the refs a break and ensures those that want it can get some sleep, those of us that stay up will just talk paintball and drink beer
As for the scenario it depends on what your tastes are (i mean history, sci-fi, crime, film etc) and what you think the site is capable of.

You don't have to dress up to play it, but there should be some people there that add that little "something" to it (apart from yourself) such as giving clues or bonus points to teams that work out challenges or such like.

Maybe let a few "tanks" be there providing that they are safe (tippman Hellhounds anyone )

Best time is summer (for obvious reasons) but weather not that important, not clashing with a tournament, is on the other hand very important
