hi all just a quick one, i was recently told not to put oil anywhere near my C02 bottle cos it will explode ! then some one said a drop of oil in the valve of the marker before i put the bottle on would keep it running sweet as the oil would shoot through the marker !!!!! dont want to blow myself up lol any ideas ??? cheers guys:confused:

dont even bother. you dont need oil through your gun. if the bolt is lubed then thats all thats needed. no oil is needed to pass through where the co2 passes through.

It depends on what gun it is! There are a few out there that enjoy a bit of oil through them.

It shouldn't hurt as CO2 isn't going to explode, its used in fire extinguishers ffs.

What you should NEVER do is put oil INSIDE a compressed air cylinder.

I had a JT Lynx and I used to squirt a bit of WD40 in the end where the bottle went on as it stopped the pipe and that from rusting and just kept it slightly lubed. I had no probs at all :)
