Ohh dear look what ive done....

After a frustrating morning of maths revision, i decided i dislided my ion shell colour. Seeing as no one wants to trade with my blue one, i decided drastic measures are called for.

Also seeing as there will be new shells available soon (i hope) i deciced to take a knife to my shelll an cut the black rubber bits off.

I am now in the process of stripping the body to the main plastic shell, and was wondering what to do next.

I have herd that you can get some sort of almost glass fibre resin to coat it in so i can model my own shape.

Anyone know what its really called?!?!

The fibre resin stuff used for patching holes in surfboards is probably best. i dont know the best supplier but these guys sound lagit, http://www.cfsnet.co.uk/acatalog/index.html

Think the stuff you are looking for may be called "bondo"

Bondo is a 2-part resin for fixing body work on cars. It bonds to metal really well but I don't know about plastic.

you'll need to 'key' the plastic surface well and then the bondo should um adhere quite well. have fun!

Why dont you put some cuts in the body...then..spray the manin inside bit some funky colour, so it shows through the cuts...

Yea thats a plan, thinking of taking it to school on thursday and having a go there, where i will have all the possible tools for my trade of destruction
