Just getting into paintball, picked up a tricked out X7, full alloy parts upgrade, metal trigger, grip/bipod combo, cyclone feeder with squishy paddles, remote line on 68/4500 Pure Energy air tank, E-trigger, proper mil. spec Acog and RDS, red hot alloy power tube and a Hammerhead Bangstixx barrel with Lapsco silencer :) Picked all that up for £190 posted :) all in excellent condition too the bottles brand new only used a couple of times

Looking to get a bigger tank though if possible so will be watching the FS section!

Anyway based in Cumbria so will start looking into games and such, for anyone that frequents the landyzone forum I'm on there too under the same username

Please excuse the mess that is my student room! Been living in it 24/7 for the last month in order to complete my uni assignments :(

Nice little buy there

Unless you are inclined to got for proper 'milsim' then I'd say take the scope off
The rest is up to you. Some of us like the look, some of us like to drop off things that just add weight
Personally I do both depending on circumstance and my mood

Check out the UKScenario forums as well

Thanks :) I do like the look of it but yes I think depending on what I'm doing with it I might remove the acog and carry handle. I'll see how it pans out as I haven't started playing yet, just looking around currently for places to join

Cheers Sam, the only thing is I'm slightly reluctant to get it tested. It is in excellent condition, I'll put a pic up later but as I know nothing of its history I'd hate it to fail :( having said that it was born in 06 and the guy said he'd only used it 4 times, the scuba shop I took it to that couldn't test it said it looked in very good condition so I will email them and if thats the best option then I think I'll send it off and pick up a spare off here possibly one of the ones you're helping me with or if not just a small steel one as it'll only be a backup to the PE then :)

Also drop an email to lips paintball or any other hydro tester and tell them about the tank and send a few pictures and they will tell you if they think it's going to pass but remember that 98% of tanks pass hydro testing

Well the thing that struck me as strange was that the guy couldn't test it as it has a pi mark on it meaning it complies to american specs which he said are lower than UK specs but he couldn't test it to the higher UK specs ? Surely if UK specs are higher then he should be able to test it past the US spec ?

Either way I'll send them an email with pics or give them a call and tell them all the markings on it, will grab it from the car and take some pics in a bit to put p on here though
