OK, so to get the ball rolling in this section I will put these up.
Mods, if you think these are unsuitable for any reason, take the thread down.
This is a set of unused Scott goggles from the early 90's, like the Banzai Bandits wore in their Timber Ghost days. They even have a "Paintball Planet" sticker on them.
They do not come with a faceplate, as for a good deal of the 90's I played without one. Which makes me the stupidest or luckiest player in the world (depending on your point of view), as I never got shot in the mouth.
Their condition is A1, which is surprising given they are around 20 years old. Foam is good, strap is not "baconed" and they have no paint stains.
That said, I would not recommend playing in them - even though the lens appears sound, I'm not sure how they would stand up to the impact of a paintball after 20 years of storage. So, I think they would appeal to a few people for sentimental reasons only.
I'm going to start the budding at £15, with increments of £1. Auction ends at 10.00pm Wednesday 29 October 2014.
After that incredibly lengthy intro:-
