Odd eye problem!

Just put a Lucky Stage 4 Board in my ion and the eyes are acting really rather strange......

When I first ar up turn the marker on with the eyes and fire away, I get about 75 shots before thr eyes stop detectng balls in the breech

Strip the gun down and take the eyes out check for drt etc put them back in and the same thng happens again

Anyone got any ideas?

get sum new eyes or replace cable. or jst play with eyes off.

Ion eyes are not very reliable.

When mine went down Smart Parts sent me some for free (Miracles do happen)

Eye problem

I agree with Dark (it had to happen one day I suppose... )... it looks like your eyes are failing.

You can test these out of your marker by removing the circuit board from the marker and just powering up your board with the eyes connected. Just put your finger in between the eyes and it should register. Whether you can simulate this particular fault or not is another thing as it seems a little inconsistent.

If this doesnt show any obvious faults then....

First check down your breech to make sure there is not a bit of shell or anything else down their. Inspect closely your eye wire for loose connections or kinks in the wire. Ultimately change the eyes and the eye wire and see if this makes a difference. If it doesn't then it can only be one thing.... your circuit board has a fault.....

Get a bin.... some petrol... and some matches.... and send it the way of all faulty circuit boards.... (or you could get it fixed)
