The last time I owned a marker was in '95 or something. It was a Sam Patriot (daystate). Had to sell it, to pay my rent. Anyway, I wanna get back in biz now. And need some help on chosing a marker.
Since Im still a student, I cant afford the most expensive ones (like, the Angel). So, heres what's available in-store at my place:
(yeah, its expensive over here)
- Vision Impulse at 11000 NOK (1200 USD). I like the looks (heh)..and it shoots fast (just dry testing in-store). Nice trigger. Any positive/negative sides with this one? Please tell.
- Shocker, at 770 USD. Not sure.. it looks big & heavy.
- Impulse Basic at 770 USD. Does it work?
- the WGP Autococker 2000 at 610 USD. Does it shoot? It lasts longer? Break balls?
Going electronic or not? I'm not sure. I think the cockers are damn nice, and they are quite mod-friendly right? But do they keep up with the pace in tournys? Wanna compete.
Should I rather try to buy a marker overseas (Uk, US) ? Where? Or should I search the pre-owned market for the next months. Got no patience though. Wanna play, now.
About 1000 USD is the amount I can waste on a marker (without air system).
Please give me an advice or two. Uhm, I feel lost. Reward. (a bottle of Coke).
