Nurve at last?

Just was looking at the SP website and noticed the Nerve page http://www.smartparts.com/Products/Nerve.aspx
after so many set backs do people really think that the nurve is going to go on sale in July (says on link), since this has being setback for well over 6months, and has all bin very hush hush
, I'm just interested to see how it proforms over the competition alhough, it does look nice, although still SP

I still don't quite see the point in the Nerve.... Is it's performance going to be THAT much better than the new Shocker to warrant the additional cost? Features like the rumoured self chrono technology don't seem to have materialised. On paper it just seems like a more expensive and heavier Shocker with a SS Freak as standard.

I'm not a big fan of SP stuff (nor do I hate it either), but I have to disagree with you here. The technology seems to be totally different from a Shocker. Shockers use a spool valve, meaning they have no hammer, whereas the Nerve will have a hammer. This means that at first glance (read: cursory reading of the specs) it would be more like most other electros out there, ie Angels, Bushies, Timmies... Although I also read somewhere that the workings will be more like the Shockers of old, just not as much of a gashog.

theres a fair few rumours flying about about it but i guess we will have to wait and see....if you listen to the rumours then
* its a repackaged impy
* its closed bolt at below 10bps then goes open bolt as you let rip on it
* its self chronoing
* it have 2 noids like the old shocker
* it doesnt have 2 noids


etc etc etc theres that many rumours about it i got a head ache readign them all the other day
