When you first gas up, turn the air on slowly, checking the input pressure (gauge on the top side of the foregrip) doesn't raise above the 200psi. The input pressure should be between 140-180psi. Sometimes, they come out of the factory with the input pressure set higher and this can blow your internal hoses and possibly even the solenoid.

To adjust the input pressure refer to "velocity adjustment" in your manual. You will need to chronograph the marker anyway, so read up on this process.

Also, check your hopper fits in the feedneck before going to play - you may need to sand the hopper neck down.

Other than that, switch it on and shoot some foolz! :D

yeah just check ramping and input pressure. other than that go kick some ass. i wounder recommend spending abit of time with the trigger tho, just getting used to it as i find the stock one on the ion difficult to use and first but alot better after some getting used to.

Yep, do all of the above, best advice really is just to give it a good testing, make a note of anything that you think could need adjustment and basically test it in gameplay to all the different extents of the marker. Check it over to make sure theres no crap in the barrel and that if youve taken it apart before in the last week that everythings tight and secure, worst thing is getting a new marker and then losing a part almost immediately (cough*my ball detent* cough)

When you gas it up make sure no cross threading occurs... obv i kno but still valuable info.

Another worthwhile note..

Depending what hopper your using, instead of sanding it down, you might want to put a little gun grease on the hopper neck before sticking it in the Ion Feedneck, (For example, when i first stuck my Egg in it, i broke the egg trying to get it back out, after replacing the egg neck, i fing just a smidge of grease inside the feedneck still gives a rock steady hold while making it "twistable" to get it off without breaking your hopper...

im also sure i remember some dude here taking a dremmel to it because his hopper jammed in an ion.
