I have also updated the League Rankings on the www.nspl.co.uk web site. We are now half way through the season and there's some interesting patterns developing in the league tables. Anyone care to guess the divisional winners and loosers at this stage?
My thanks once again to the venue owners; all those sterling peeps who reffed so well on sunday; to Jay, Simon, and George for setting and clearing up the event; to Mel for admin and manning the Paintball Warehouse stand; Paintball Warehouse, Just Paintball, and Heaven Paintball for the stands; and to all the sponsors including the NatWest Bank and Powerball/Sterling Paintballs.
The event was the best we've enjoyed this season and a taste of the good times to be had at HG4 next month. It was sadly marred by the theft of two markers from the player's staging area and I am personally gutted for the individuals who had them stolen. I am looking in to the issue of security as it seems to be becoming a common trend, but at this point I would also like to make a plee to all you players: please take more responsibility for your equipment at training and tournaments - keep it under lock and key or under the eye of someone you trust. It seems the days of honour, trust and respect in paintball are sadly numbered.
