Announcing: The Nostalgia Cup
==========================
The final addition to our Tenth Year Celebrations: The Nostalgia Cup. This is a one-off, special tournament event conceived as a thank you to all of our supporters, past present and new. We will be running a Sup'Air tournament at our NSPL Reading venue with an open invitation to all our friends and supporters over the past ten years. We're planning on putting on quite a party and entry will be a low, low, low £75 per 5-Man team!
Conceived as a re-union for all of our teams of old, the Nostalgia Cup invites teams to reform for one special celebration tournament. Names we are hoping to see at the event, could include:
D.O.A
Showtime
Tribe
Roosters
Barcode
Tsunami
Blitz
Animal
Hillbillies
NPG Cows
Quake
Smoking Beagles
Dark Ritual
Unknown
Raven
Preds
...and so on.
Many of these teams have ex-players still involved in the sport, so I would ask these players to pass the word and to take on the task of re-uniting their old teams for a one-off trip down memory lane.
We are not limiting the event to these teams, but really would like to a theme of re-union for this Nostaliga Cup.
The event will be run alongside our Proto KotH event on the 25th July and is also the day before the NSPL on the 26th at the same venue. Camping is available on site free of charge and we're banking on great Summer weather too! So those wanting to make a weekend of it will have a great time.
Here is the format for the day...
- Five man teams.
- Double-Flag format.
- 10 minute time limit.
- One Division of 10 Teams.
- £75 entrance fee per team. £140 (3 Cases of RecSport) and £190 (4 Cases of Blaze) Inc Paint Packages Available.
- Sup'Air playing field.
- No Paint Limit
- No-ramping policy. Semi-automatic only. No ROF cap!
- 280fps velocity limit.
We will be providing our usual excellent services and facilities - all our Reading venue has to offer for just £75 entry per 5-Man team!
Dust off those old phone books people and let's get everyone together for a trip down memory lane that we will all remember for some time to come! :bananas:
