As previously announced, we will be awarding the NSPL Shields for the division champions at the Bricketwood Country Club on the evening of Saturday, December 4th. All teams are invited to attend the presentations and we expect a representative from each of the 2010 NSPL division winners to be present to collect their Champions Shield.

The evening will co-incide with the Bricketwood Winter League final leg and presentation evening, doubling as an Xmas celebration for Bricketwood, the NSPL and several teams. This promises to be a great night out with lots of fun and planned activities.

Tickets for the evening are £15 per person. This covers your entry and dinner, with any profits being given to a charity of Yorkie's choosing. There will be lots of eating, drinking, poker, dancing, games and other activities going on throughout the night. Players are encouraged to bring their partners and dress smartly to give the evening a true party atmosphere.

NSPL shields, displaying all eleven years of our league's long and exciting history, will be awarded to the 2010 winners of Division 1, 2, 3 and 4. We expect representatives collecting the awards to give a brief speach and take the opportunity to represent their sponsors and have their photos taken for publication on the internet and elsewhere.

We will also be displaying photos of as many of the previous champions as we can lay our hands on, showcasing eleven fantastic years of the league and its deserving winners.

Teams wanting to participate in the final leg of Yorkie's Winter Series prior to the presentation evening will need to contact Yorkie direct on 07968120424.

Put the 4th December in your diaries peeps and lets make a proper night of it!

Post up if you are planning on attending please so we can get an idea of numbers.

Personally, I think Help for Heroes get plenty of support already and actually have millions sat in property and bank accounts doing nothing because they set their rules to claim monies a little bit too harsh when they started up. Whilst they are certainly a popular choice of late, there are many, many other worthy charities to consider and I am sure Yorkie will come up with a great short list of options for everyone to choose from.

At the end of the day, if you want a say in where any profit goes, make sure you attend the event.

IMPORTANT UPDATE!

Due to the bad weather and lots of teams not being able to make it tomorrow, we are postponing the presentation of the NSPL Division Awards.

I will post up news about a new date for the presentation as soon as possible.

Thanks for your understanding.
