The NSPL is running with the M7 X-Ball Varient format for Division One again in 2009. This division is capped at a maximum of eight teams. Four teams own Division One Spots at this time. The other four are up for grabs...
The NSPL's provision of this format is excellent with a dedicated reffing crew including refs with plenty of M7 and Millennium-event experience, pits, scoreboards, buzzers, music, commentary, full 2009 Millennium field, and all set within the fantastic events we hold at our Reading venue. Matches are a race to four points with two-minutes between points.
The NSPL is in ownership of four Division One Spots which are up for grabs to teams wishing to play at the top of the NSPL this coming season. Division One is highly competitive with fast paced, multi-point M7 format matches including pit stops and coaching.
Division One matches will only be played at our Reading fixtures and entry is priced at £280 per team per event. A deposit of £280 must be paid as a rolling deposit by Sunday, March 8th.
There is no price tag for Division One spots, but these will be awarded to teams who the NSPL decides will bring the best competitive action to the league's top division.
Teams wanting to acquire a spot, must apply in writing to info@nspl.co.uk and provide their Team Name, Playing History, Current Roster, Captain's contact number and any other information deemed relevant.
The NSPL will then decide at the end of February which teams to award Division One spots based on the applications it receives. This judgement will purely be on which teams will maintain or increase the level of competition in the division and no favourtism will be shown nor bribes accepted.
Remember that the winning team will receive free entry to the UK National Championships at the end of this year. Maximum bragging rights can only be won by playing at the top and winning the UK National Championships in 2009.
You've gotta be in it to win it guys, so contact the NSPL on the email link above ASAP to apply for your Division One spot.
