So what's the deal with S7 and paint? Anyone know?

BYOP?
"BYOP" from sponsors?
Buy there from sponsors?
Buy from Pure Promotions?

One Brand? All Sponsor brands?

OH MY GOD !!!!!!

Raehl asking a question !!!!!!!!
Does that mean he doesn't know everything ???????
Hmmm, guess so

Anyway, the first NPPL tournament to be held at Huntingdon Beach is indeed 'Bring your own' as long as the fill is non-staining and an appropriate MSDS (Manufacturers Safety Data Sheet) has been received by the organisers.
All paint companies have these and Chuck will be endeavouring to secure these in the following weeks.

Yes, there will also be paint sold on site, please call me for any questions (303) 520-3027 or e-mail me at Camille@nppl.tv Our registration is now open on-line at www.nppl.tv which also answers many of the questions I have come across on this board. I will be handling all team information and so forth for the league, so please feel free to call. I hope all is well with everyone and please be ever so careful over the New Year!

Happy Holidays to all!

On what other bulletin board can u get a service like this ?
Any question answered, even those that Chris ventures !!!

Chris, since it is soon to become a new year, and a new year bringing forth all the customary good intents, I offer a truce.

I will refrain from animosities and let you decide what you need to refrain from :)

Let's hope the truce holds.

Nice to have you onboard, Camille, but--
it would probably be a lot more helpful if you could post what paints will be available and which paints--due to staining qualities--will absolutely not be allowed. The price would also be nice because some sponsored teams won't have their regular paint sponsors present [according to the current word on the street anyway;)]

And while you're at it you might want to take a look at the questions about membership fees in case you'd like to respond to that one, too. :)

Unfortunatly dear, once I start answering questions people will expect me to spend hours on the boards answering all sorts of things. It would be much more productive for myself to have these questions directed to my e-mail account or via a phone call. Besides, you just never know who could be posting bogus information and pretending to be someone else. Give it a shot, for the questions you posed call me or send me an e-mail, I promise to get back to you.

Thank you all for loving the sport,

I think the point Baca was going for here is that with the event barely a month off, this is the kind of information that should be available by consulting the S7 website and should not necessitate an email or phone call.

Or if that is for some reason not possible, if you posted them here, they'd quickly be disseminated by users to the various tournament-related web forums. That gives most people easy access to the information and saves you a pile of emails and phone calls asking the same question.

Chris,
We do have our paint sponsors listed on our website and are still adding on to those. This is not to say that people can only get information from our website, we are constantly updating the public with press releases, including one we are working on this moment regarding the MSDS for BYOP (Material Safetly Data Sheet for Bringing your own paint).

This will be the last time I reply to a message from you on any forum, you must contact me through nppl.tv or via a phone call for any information you are still looking for. I stand by the fact that posting information on forums can be tricky as people will start relying on this as a reliable source of information from us, when in all reality anyone could be posting nonsense. This has happened in the past and can be quite confusing for all.

Although I appreciate your concern, I don't mind the e-mails and phone calls. It gives me a chance to really talk to the players and find out how they feel on issues as well as address all of their concerns in one shot. That is my job and I love it. And don't tell me you don't have the time to e-mail me Chris, I've seen how often you post on the forums ;) Just a little humor, your input at our Chicago Meeting was very interesting and I feel a good conversation with you would be as well. I look forward to hearing from you.

I realize there are sponsors listed who are paint companies, but I have not been able to determine if all of them will actually be selling paint at the event. I apologize if this information has been recently added, but your menu on the left side of the page only works in a limited subset of web browsers, none of which I have access to at the moment.

A for distributing information on web forums, if you don't do it, someone else will, although I certainly understand not wanting to engage in web forum Q&A. Probably something I should do less of, but I'm a creature of habit. ;)

Anyway, I'll direct any further questions through email/phone.
