Anyone know when the NPPL will be ready to confirm their tournament dates. Maybe someone in the know would have that info

If you sign up to the newsletter on their webpage they will send you the updates. I got two this week, however a lot of dates are still not confirmed - but they state it clearly.
It is very differcult to set a date with so many influences so I can understand why this is.

...and exactly what 'influences' do the NPPL have to deal with that the PSP and Millennium do not?
To be fair it was meant as a general statement but if the rest can do it then there is no reason why the NPPL can not.

What about PSP? They don't even have their first date confirmed, and NPPL does. So NPPL isup at least one event there.

No, I don't like it, and for somebody as intelligent as he to indulge in such pig-headedness says more about he (Chicago) and his motives than his actual denial of the truth.
If I say to you, 'the differential of x squared is 3x', and you say 'No Pete, it's actually 2x and the reason is because of the following', and you go on to explain a rational basis for your answer, then I'm gonna hold my hands up and say, 'thanks for the update' and be on my way and accept the true answer is 2x (which it is).
If however I was still sticking to my answer of 3x but you knew I had actually completed and understood a calculus course, what would my 'apparent' inability to grasp the truth make you think?
And when you answer that, you may well undertsand why it aggravates me.
No you dont! Your just as confused by 2x and 3x calculus as the rest of us.
The only x's I understand are
1. Castlemien XXXX
2. XXX rated.
3. and X on a dirty old piece of paper means you should dig there!
