What is your budget?

A used auto mag isn't a bad buy, a stock autococker can be run off CO2 and can be totally upgraded if you decide you need more from your gun.

This question gets asked a lot and you'll get all kinds of responses (the old "opinions are like bungholes..." bit). You'll get better feedback if you tell us what kind of budget you have, what equipment you already have (marker, air/CO2) and where/how you play on the field (back, front, bunkermonkey).

To summarize some of the previous discussions on this:

- look at a second-hand marker. you'll get more for your money than buying new.
- mid-range electros are a good option. opinions on low-end electros vary.
- Autocockers are also a good option and give you room to build/customize your marker.
- see if you can try out different markers at your local field to get a feel for them. most players will let you take a few shots at the chrony if you ask nicely. :D

Swines I tells ya

As soon as I watched that film I wanted to change our team name, but found it was already taken. (Not that the team would have had any of it)

Looking forward to Boondock 2

(Sorry for threadjack btw)

Searching for the pro-tour....:S
Excellerator 6

The Jt 6's run pretty well, you'll need to get the upgraded bolt
(it may be standard now, so check with the shop!).

Its just a venturi bolt with very rounded edges. Without it the excellerators blend paint big time!

Only problem is that you buy an excellerator and it can't get much better. Look to a second hand gun, or save for a good cheapie like an impulse or base cocker.

Both can be taken from stock to all singing custom wickedness!

very nice cocker, i play front and this is what ive been using cockers for 10 years.....this one would make a great buy as you could upgrade it eaven more if you wanted....not that it needs it!
id be willing to sell it to you for 300 without the boomstick if you are interested.....and if you need them i have a couple of c02 tanks ill throw in as well, oh and an electric hopper

let me know what you think
