My posts are the wrong way

The last post is on the first page, and the first post is right at the bottom of the last page.

How do I make it normal?

I dont remember it being like this when I didnt have an account, it was the right way up.

How do I make it normal?

People wish to read the most recent posts made upon a subject and that's because the vast majority of people visiting this site are habitual members and so will have already read the threads that will interest them and just want updating.

The only people who really wish to see threads from the beginning are people who have just joined and therefore if you crunch the numbers, it's not really worth us accommodating a very minor percentage [new users] as against over 20,000 other members ...

It's all about catering for the major demographic I'm afraid but as far as you are concerned, as soon as you have been around for a week or so, you'll be happy to be presented with the first page of most recent posts coz it means you wont have to trawl all the way thru old posts just to see the most recent ones in the threads you take interest in.

I hope this explains why.

For the life of me, I can't see why you would wish to change it because everybody who knows how to use forums has the most recent posts shown first but if you do like being different .. then you can do so in 'settings' ....

In all fairness i thought the same as cooky
Every other forum i read has the following format

Post1
Post2
Post3
Post4
Post5

etc... but i like it this way as its a little qwerky

User CP > General Settings, theres a thread option there so you can edit the way you read it.

Thread Display Mode > Linear: Oldest first

Up .. I think you'll find the way it's presented is normally what you set it up to be mate in your personal preferences isn't it? .. as far as this site's default setting goes.. we just set it to what most people want, that's all.
