North vs South game, lift wanted

I'm a London based player going up to the North vs South game. I'm looking for a lift there and back. I'm happy to pay towards petrol but I don't drive.

it's easier to come up on the train mate. if you came up on the saturday get to birmingham, then take a train to wolverhampton and then a taxi to the camp site cost altogether (if you 16 or so) bout £60 roughly

The trains back are all at about 9pm, I would get home about midnight.After getting up at 6, playing all day, that makes for a very long day.

well you could get the easyjet flight to edinburgh saturday eve for £20 get pissed in the capital of scotland(best drinking in the counttry), B&B for a £10 and then cadge a lift with us on sunday morning.

But thats probably a bit extreme

But , no think a bit too much...besides there's this girl named Fiona in Edinburgh who'll have my guts for garters if i show my face there again...it's a long story...

I'm in tha midlands so cant give you a lift, but if you book your tickets more than a week in advance online through trainline.com or virgin.com the return ticket is about £12.00, they were doing a deal online not to long ago which gave you an extra £5 off - but might not be doing that now so have a look.

Can find out from our local taxi firm how much it will cost to get to cannock from the station + if there are a few of you coming on the train it might be worth sharing a taxi or getting a minibus from the station.
