North East Newbies.
Helloooooooo I know there are alot of you out there 'cos lots of people have asked me about tournament at rec-days, so, long story short:
I'm getting as many new players together as I possibly can and we are going to put together some tourney teams. We have somewhere to practice, the support of a local field( next to the Metro-centre) and some spare kit.
We are aiming to get as many new players into tourney as possible. PM me, it's not as difficult as you think.
We already have a team for the 15th June and the more the merrier, if you have the day free you'll get a game. Also, anyone interested in using pump/pistol etc... for some tournament comedy is welcome.

Oh, and we'll be hiring transport. E.mail me to get onto our mailing list.

(I'm organising this, not playing for the new team).

No official team name yet, but El Mariachi is looking good... we get our own theme tune, look out for more badly spelled mexican posters!!!!!!!!!

I'm still a hellfish, this is something separate, started 'cos lots of my mates were wanting to play, but couldn't commit to a serious twice a month team. More for the fun of it.....we are planning to do some big games "mob handed". I won't be playing tourney with the new team, just giving them a bit of support.
In the spirit of fun, all team meetings will be held at Cuba Cuba in Newcastle, team captain wll be decided by "last man standing" during Chop Suey by system of a down.

And yes to your second question
Interested? won't affect playing on a serious team.

Cee? I az been looking at two autocockers, a new one from evil, the omen and the WGP 2003 Edition Cocker, the second one is a bit cheaper, plus I've been recommended to get one of these as a good all-rounder marker.

Cockers are excellent, if you got the cash, superb marker very reliable. I've got a cocker for playing back. Can't go wrong.
