Hey guys. Just getting into paintballing, I done my first day today and loved it. I'm going to go brickett wood and start training but there's a few things I wanted to get straight first so shall I just head over to the right forum place and ask away?? Sam

Ok thanks. I've seen 2 Markers. A PMR 07 and a Proto blue. I didn't want to spend too much to get out there and play but both these markers are under the 200 mark which I'm happy with. I've been watching danger man vids and they say about speedball or sup but I will be wanting to play woodsball or the courses they have at brickett wood. Would these markers be good for that terrain? Do I want to get the higher psi as its longer range? Got loads of questions lol either that or ill get one from the guys on the forum off the classifieds. I just didn't want a pants market right off the bat. Thanks. Sam

Get hold of the guys down at brikett wood I know there's a few teams based there and see when they are training or next walkon get yourself down there before you buy , u should be able to try and get the feel of different markers and GOGGLES ( most important part of your kit )

Yeah I've got my head round most of it and I'm sure tactics and gear opinion will come with time. They guy on here are real helpful if you use the search engine as well as reading all the stickies. I'm going to pop down bricket wood today and lips is literally round the corner from me as I live in Hemel and they are open all day!! RESULT!!

Hello and welcome, I'm not sure what either of you mean by the term psi but I think your misunderstanding it so, psi is pounds per square inch basically all it means is how much air can fit inside something like car tyres are normally around 28-32psi an air tank for paintball are generally 3000-4500psi and so on. The term which would obviously effect "range" would be fps (feet per second) simply how fast the ball travels just like mph for a car generally the higher your fps the further to ball will travel, but due to laws you can only shoot a max of 300fps and most sites I've been to are set at 270/280 I hope this helps to clarify the psi a bit more. I do believe dangerman's last video was around psi etc you might want to have a recap :) feel free to pm me ill try and help if I can't there are loads of other guys that can
