on my pump gun I just recieved I have an none on off asa, when i screw the bottle in its real easy just screws right in but when I try to get it out thats another matter its only possible by putting it between my legs and twisting to get it out, is this because it is a none on off asa as with my etek it's easy to get out once i've un aired it but I dont see how i can release the pressure from this as if the asa is the problem then am just gonna save for a decent asa. thanks for any help

this is normal for a ASA that doesnt have a On/Off purging system built in. id reccomend using a bit of gun oil on the threads of the asa to make it a bit easier to take out.

all so i used to dry fire my old BT combat and twist at the same time and it comes out alot easier as when the air is recharging there less pressure pushing on the threads :D

hope this help

thought you wernt supposed to put oil anywhere near the asa? and with it being pump gonna be hard to fire and shoot

was waiting for that ... its fine just dont put it in your fill nipple :) the pressure output of the tank isnt enough to ignite any oil.... nowhere near

That non on/off ASA i fitted has a tiny bleed hole drilled in the side

You should only need to back off bottle by 1/2 to 3/4 turn before it vents pressure out the side

Twist the bottle as much as you can, pump, fire and twist again, at least that's what we did last summer, I'll get my coat.
