No Euro X-ball teams at the cup?

I just had it confirmed with Mike Ratko, the NXL commissioner, that there will not be an X Ball world championship.
The European X Ball champions, Team Sweden, don't plan to attend so that precludes the game that had been discussed between the NXL 1st place winner and the Nations Cup first place winner.
As I understood it, arrangements have been made for any of the four finalists in the Nations Cup series to participate in the Division 1 X Ball event at the World Cup. I am still waiting for all the details to be worked out.
