I picked up one of these 2nd hand a while ago and only have needed to change the output today. I can't seem to work out what I need to twist/do to alter the pressure. It's stuck on around 800 atm, need to get it to 400.

It's gassed up at the moment, stuck to a bottle.

a pre cheers for any help.

It should have came with a spanner. You see the brass hexagonal shaped collar (with rounded holes in it) that turns back and forth to raise/lower the output pressure.

It is easily turned if the bottle is empty, you will need a spanner/adjustable though to move it while gassed up :)

EDIT: BTW that is a Nitroduck Xtreme not a preset :)

Thats not a preset, thats adjustable. You need to turn the steel, hex-nut looking piece in between the dark bit that screws into the gun and the silver bit that your guages and fill nipple are screwed into. Without air in the tank you can do it my hand (but you wont know when you reach 400) but with air in the tank you can use the special spanner that should have come with it or just a big adjustable spanner. The one that comes with it uses those circular indents for leverage.

EDIT- Doh! Parksy beat me to it.

Thanks Parksy
:D

If were talking about the one on the side.....that was one of the first things I tried, but when I turned it gas just pissed out of it, and the operating pressure didn't change.

At that point I decided to quickly screw it back on as a bolt with a half undone thread pointing my way resembled death in my eyes :]

Is it just bleeding it, cos I just ried again and I had those visions again.

Nicky there is a nut/collar with holes in it (where your G spanner should go) - turn it anti clockwise to decrease your pressure - give it time for some reason it take a moment for the guage to move down or up

And for petes sake dont touch your burst disk...lol
