Do you ever run into the problem of having too many and/or unwanted nicknames? When jersey printing time runs around it's perplexing and requires too much thinking than something as simple a matter as such should be. One of my teammates just coined ANOTHER nickname for me the other day that somehow stuck to me and I can't seem to pry it off, especially since it makes me laugh. How he came up with "Crab Friend" I just can't figure out. That adds to the collection including KillerOnion, MrNiceguy, Mantis, Chef, Emeril, Cyromania...geez, it's like my barrel bag. This happen to any of you?

The principle of nicknames in Thunder is your can't choose your own - you "earn" one.

I got called Beaker about 3/4 yrs ago and I doubt most of the guys actually know my real name :)

Astounding, actually, because we've only met once and it didn't take me more than twice. I need to get back over there soon...need to play over there more. Last time, well...I've beat that story to death. I don't think an Angel can get messed up too badly in the mail--I'm not even going to try to fly with it given present conditions. Just gotta convince my team that it's worth the plane ticket and other stuff. Perhaps Campaign?

Well there's Jeeves, Jeevus Maximus, Jeevus Bodily Harm. Thats about it. Jeeves or Jeevus are most common though.

My name is Carlos, so the transition from my real name to Los was a quick one. My pops is Puerto Rican, so I get plenty of nicknames relating to hispanics including, but not limited to: Wetback, Mexican, Julio, Jose, Paco, and any other such terms. ;) My mom is German, so getting names like The Fuehrer, Naxi, etc. is a no-brainer. It seems that Los is the most prevalent, however, especially by those that don’t really know me. Only a close circle of friends can get away with names other than Los, for anyone else, it’s curtains

As for the Nickname problem...

Nothing sucks more than having more than 1 nickname. A few years back I tried to ditch my nick name "BEDO" given to me back in the beging of my Air Force career. Then by accident I left a piece of equipment out with my nick on it and one of my co-workes got everyone calling me it. Man I almost ditched it too. When it came time to Jersey printing I had to go with Ro0sTer since most everyone in the UK knows me as this. Which sucks since most my team knows me as BEDO short for EscoBEDO. **** I am rambling on! Sorry head colds tend to do that.
