Nexus with a Twizz

Nexus are going through quite a few changes at the moment. The latest is an addition to the squad.

There is so much to do on the field to keep up to speed that sometimes things get missed. There is ALWAY’S another opinion and sometimes we miss that very important second angle to the puzzle. The brains on the team have been taking more and more of a back seat recently and we needed some more input. So to this end Nexus have been joined by Twizz. For people that don’t know who he is Twizz was the Shockwave Coach last season, most recently playing with Backlash. Twizz has been around forever it seems and has a wealth of knowledge, which he freely hands out in his own special way. Twizz’s enthusiasm for the game is unparalleled. Twizz will make a fine addition to our training regime and I for one look forward to bouncing some ideas off him and getting the odd slapped wrist.

Just so's there no misunderstanding here, Twizz was asked to join the Nexus team to help collate training data that is part of the process I said I would embark upon after talks with Sergey re the 'Operational Innovation' strategy he employs with the Legion.

As part of that process - we had to refocus resources and our attention away from a 16 man squad to a more focused group of individuals - hence the recent down-sizing of the squad to 10 players.

I will still be going to the vast majority of training sessions to oversee and implement the new order of things and this will hopefully ensure more consistent results than we are getting now.

I hate the fact that team performances can be on such a knife-edge where one week we can be brilliant and bashing the cr@p outa everybody then the next, we are mediocre to say the least.

From now on, the best 7 players will be on that field representing Nexus and that alone should ensure a better performance and me getting a better sleep at night.

This can be nothing but good for the future of Nexus. All the best for the future lads, Twizz is an absolute star to play/train with. It's been a pleasure playing with him this year in the PA. Good look for the new Nexus team.
