OK Guys - having driven around every possible route on the diversion today - we have decided that the most sensible route in for anyone that doesn't know the area is from Jct 10 of the M27.
The only minor problem there is that you can only come off the motorway at jct 10 westbound - what is the point of these one direction exits?
If you are coming from/past Portsmouth (ie A3M or Chichester, Bognor, etc) you can simply exit M27 at jct 10.
If you are coming from/past Southampton (ie M3 or Bournemouth, etc) you will need to go to jct 11 (Fareham Central), come off the motorway, go round the roundabout and come back onto the motorway going the other way. Just be careful not to disappear up your own exhaust!
So - you come off the M27 at jct 10 and head up the A32 towards Alton & Wickham. Straight over one roundabout. At the next roundabout take the first exit (Wickham) and go straight through Wickham village - the main square will be on your right but its not worth a detour.
You will, eventually, go across a set of lights and pass BTA Car Sales on your right. You will then pass a big farm shop on the right - you need to take the next left (A334), which will be signposted to Botley, Wickham Vineyard and Marriott Meon Valley Hotel. There will also be signs saying that the road is closed except for access (you are using it for access and there are no nasty holes in the road to swallow you). We will have a sign at this road junction, as will every other business on the road!!
Stay on this road, passing the Marriott Meon Valley on your right. You will also pass Wickham Vineyard on the right (keep going, its closed!).
Ambush Paintball is on Raglington Farm, which is on the left (about half a mile beyond the vineyard) and our signs will be out.
If you pass SilverLake Garage on the right, you have gone too far!!
