anyone help me out with how to get the bolt on my Nexus to go forward? Marker cycles fine except the bolt is permanently stuck back, thus no air to eject ball!!

We come up with the following:
If it's not moving forward enough it could be the Ball detent jammed or a bit of paint shell stuck behind it.
the only other thing we could think of was possibly the cocking rod needs tightening up a bit.

errmm... reading at the small print between the lines...
You've got a Nexus series cocker...
My diagnosis is that it sounds like you've got the antichop eye turned on and youre cycling it with air but not putting any balls through it, so try turning the eye off and try again...

Nope....would still fire the air...something else is up with it...somewhere between classic mode and a mechanical problem....though what he has said is wrong makes no sense whatsoever!

Cocking rod is stuck in the cocked position and will not uncock although breach cycles fine. The marker is not in classic mode and no air is released when the marker is cycled due to the cocking rod staying in the cocked position. I hope this makes a little more sense

Is the sear solenoid releasing the hammer? Does it click?
When you say breach cycles...you mean, when you pull the trigger?
If not try unscrewing the trigger stop screw so the trigger goes back further and alsothe top set screw....
try resetting to FACTORY settings.
If not...put allen key down through the top of the main body and unwind the hammer lug, till the hammer drops forward, while pulling the trigger

Can you move the bolt by hand? If you can remove the bolt (or just move it back and forwards) then I dunno, if the bolt is firmly wedged in position then it could be jammed on a bit of grit or shell in the barrel, in that case you could try removing the bolt pin, sticking a stick squeegie or some such into the barrel and giving it a hit to push the bolt free.
