Hello all..
I'm pretty new to this business of owning my own marker. I have recently gotten a PMI Piranha, STS E-force as a gift. A few of my friends have been into paintballing for a while now.. and all own thier own equipment. On suggestion from a few of them... I've upgraded my Piranha with the following:

Piranha, STS E-force
14" Smartparts Progressive Barrel
12v Revvy, X-board
3A 91ci/4500 PSI HPA (On loan from a friend)

I will be purchasing a some sort of fancy smancy drop forward today... to accomodate the HPA.

I was wondering what I should upgrade next. From most of the posts that I've been reading on various boards... the next logical step would be a new bolt? People suggest the red/green bolts from PMI or a delrin bolt? Aside from a bolt what else would you upgrade?

If you were in my shoes.. and had about $100 to spend on upgrades... what would you do?

Thanks in advance...

The red or green bolts are a sound purchase, if you have the standard blue bolt in yours. I wouldn't bother with delrin bolts in blowback markers, because although they reduce kick they tend to cause problems with blowback (where excess gas is directed up the feed tube, causing feeding problems at chops at higher fire rates.)

The other upgrade I'd recommend is a vertical regulator - I won't name a specific one here because there are so many to choose from, and just about anything that will output in the 300-500psi range will work.

I wouldn't spend alot of money upgrading a Pirhana. A bolt and a drop would be about all else I'd get, your current setup is pretty good. Play with that for a while until you get mad skilz, then buy yourself something that costs more than your car.

the thing about drop forwards is people dont know if they need one. A drop forward is either used to balance the gun or to be able to squeeze around trees supball bunkers whatever you play. and choose the right one it might be the difference between balancing or unballancing your gun therefore is very important in the accuracy. choose well my friend.
