So, being the person I am, my 98c hasn't even come and I've already started looking into the next marker. I was thinking an x7 phenom? What guns are usually the best next step?

really depends on your play style. if your playing scenario and only scenario then the Phenom is a great idea.
if you plan on speedball/tournie play, then anything from say an axe to Geo/ego/etek/luxe etc. would suit.
paintball when you first start out is almost like a trap, if you start low end your continuously buying a new marker to get to the same level as the next player.

Id recommend from my limited experience doing a good few walk-on's, speak to other players and see what you like the feel of. In the mean time there's nothing stopping you drooling over some the lush marker setups out there. iv found with paintball don't rush into anything. what someone might like you may hate ect.

Sound advice guys, I think all sites in my area are only woodsball/scenario, unless you know of anywhere in Hampshire that do speedball. If I get into it, I can see myself moving to speedball if it's available in my area
