Next day delivery and visa electron...

Is it just me, or do a lot of paintball shops online have a problem with this?

To start with, I went round a few shops before I finaly found ones that accepted it, when I order, I get a call for one saying they dont accept it! So I had to end up paying through paypal. Although thats annoying what realy annoyed me this time was the next day delivery thing.

Scince both sites only had "next day delivery" and didnt have an option for saturday delivery I assumed that that would be classed as "next day"

Well I ended up paying about 10 quid extra on delivery to get it today "saturday" as they didnt have a saturday delivery option... why? Cos I needed the stuff for today, but instead I dont get anything and had to miss out on a days training.

Now to me... thats realy poor, if the next day isnt saturday delivery they should do a saturday delivery option. And before you say, all of it was ordered around 11am =\

The electron is just a cheque guarantee card, the one you need is a connect card.

Either way, everywhere else on the net accepts visa electron why not paintball places >.<

Electron is a Debit card aswell however few places except it for some reason.

i had one when i changed my account to barclays for a month or so, bloody useless it was.

There's still a surprisingly large number of places that can't take Electron debit cards, not just paintball shops. This often isn't by choice - it's usually a decision made by whichever company they use to process their credit/debit card payments.

Next day delivery refers to next WORKING day. The majority of packages delivered in the UK go to working places such as offices and factories, so the delivery business is geared to Mon-Fri and not weekends. Some will do Saturday delivery, but normally at a massive premium cost. Again, this isn't something specific to the paintball industry.

We can only take Electron face to face, nothing to do with us being snobs it's the banks. As for next day delivery on a Saturday if its something small we just use recorded delivery as courier's charge about £30-50 to deliver at weekends (well mine does)

A guy from the bank I use once told me they only give electron cards to people with no money, bit rude really

Electron cards have to been signed for....no-one will accept them over the phone (or they shouldn't) as you are not able to sign for it

As for next day delivery...they are all next working day and saturday aint a working, simple as

electron ive used on websites everywhere for the last year, now its only as ive gone to order my paintball stuff that ive had a problem with it =\
