Hi all, Im a newbie and got the bug! Im from the Gloucestershire area and played a couple of Big Game Events, Paintfest and Mayhem. I have already booked up for three weekend events with my boy in 2014. Any pointers for N vs S as I understand that this is a very big site. Should we run with a squad or independents? Any pointers for us to have a great weekend. Cheers

Best advice is to read the players pack and become intimately familiar with how the game works. It's a big site but there is a lot to help you make the most of the main game, such as transport, objectives to focus on and of course the generals are out there to make sure people are in the right places. Most of the whining by people about the scale of the game is from people to dumb to pay attention to how the game works. If there's a couple of you then there's no massive need to latch onto a specific squad, you'll find yourself naturally tagging onto more experienced groups as the day goes on. make sure you follow the NvS website and their Facebook page and you'll keep informed. Warped put on an incredible event, best in the business, you'll love it.

The North will probably Dominate But I can`t help myself leaning towards the bullied side being the South, and hopefully the South will show their Teeth better than they have before ??

Y'know, I considered playing for the South last year out of pity (after playing North for 7 NvSs) but then the smell of shandy put me off...

H, your game play notes have been taken on board and I do not want to be a part of the whining crowd. In big games you can miss a lot. Technically I'm from the South (the bullied team) so is should play for them. I like what DCP DAN said about running as a small team close to the action, but the north will have these same groups. I'm the type of person to be a front man in the thick of it. Within saying that, my boy will stay in the background until he's really needed and will want to play for the winning side....North. We both have the full kit. I have a Phenom but by then "Hopefully" I will have the DYE DAM (on the condition that I can keep the price of one of these away from the missus)!! and he has the BT TM15 both markers with upgraded bolts and barrels. Just got to get a couple of 2Ltr air tanks to keep us in a bit longer.
