If you can get to local tourney's go along and speak to some teams after they have played they may be able to point you in the right direction...

Also have a look in the tournament section people are looking for players for certain events to guest but if you do well could be a regular...:)

Don't blow it all on equipment........you'll want plenty left to actually train with ;)

Half of that budget will get you a great package - Etek3, Rotor and a tank, then the rest on some good goggles and playing gear/protection.

everything mentioned above :)

if you cant dedicate to travelling to a tourney/practise with the possibility of getting absolutely no result then i suggest you try contacting teams by email/website/p8nt etc. have a look at the comprehensive team list 2011 for teams nearby you and go from there. personally i started by turning up to one tournament, meeting people and going from there.

your budget is bigger than what half of the serious players on here will have :p
to get a great setup (especially since you are relatively new) you would only need to dedicate about £500 to buy everything NEW or even less if you buy second hand, which personally i think is the way to go for almost all pball gear. its brilliant you've got your mind set on this but i'd honestly make sure this is something you will stick with before spending all that cash on one new hobby, so get yourself a good middle of the road marker, decent mask and loader and then build up from there

welcome to the sport!
