newbie questions

hey im looking to get a paintball gun and just have three questions..

1) What's a hi-rise?
2) What gun would you suggest for a newbie with a limited amount of money?
3) Out of these, what would I HAVE TO HAVE or should have:

Butt Plate
Bottle Covers
Hi-rise
Bottle Threadsaver
Hopper Covers
Gun Oil
Gun Cover

A hi rise is a vertical feed tube with a longer feed neck.

As to the other things you listed the only ones you may want to buy is the bottle cover and the gun oil. The rest are just optional and wont really improve your game.
Where are you from and what marker are you thinking of getting?

uh oh, downhill slope now you mentioned buying a marker. look high look low, we all have different opinions, the p8ntballer markers tech page gives a good write up and some pictures, but also there is a site I THINK called painballextreme, they do much more detailed write ups and put prices down. whatever the $ price the uk price will be about the same but in £ of course. have fun looking, try b4 you buy

Like whitecross said try before you buy, even on a limited budget there is still a fair few markers you can get your hands on, the best way to find out what marker is for you is try and use as many as you can and see what you feel most confortable with. Making a thread like this you wouldn't believe how many people say what marker is the best, but again, its all down to personal taste.

When buying a first marker keep your eye on the classifieds you can get some top markers for low prices.

Iain is right second hand is alot easier to go for your first marker. Cheaper han first hand and just as good but maybe a few bumps thats all. its up too you whether you want to buy a cheap marker now and get a new one in a few months/year or you could save and get a nice marker such as a impulse or decent cocker my m8 got a decent cocker for his first gun, second really but his first he had for a few weeks and realised he wanted better. so he got a nice cocker hes only been playing a few months now but he is developing well and loves then gun.
