newbie question

hey there i usually go to a few local sites by me to play so now iv decided to get my own gear and start to play more this year im un decided on a couple of guns to get either:
Smart Parts Ion
Spyder Electra
Spyder Pilot ACS

which would u advise i know the electra is prob best but what do u guys advise.

also are there any teams in the bromsgrove, strat, brum, cheltenham area that i could possibly look at playing with or joining?

ion is used by a few of us. its cheap,reliable and easily upgradeable. everything from bottom lines, to barrels to weirdlittle buttons that make the bolt come out the back,not to mention all the gucci boards you can buy.

disadvantage is that its a bit of a bugger to strip and clean.

personally,out of the three choices there, buy an ion.

Ive got a team in Bromsgrove.. we train at kiddy with our older team called "Impulsive Disorder" up at Quadball and we are going to our more local site in kiddy when they get their sup air up

Impulsive disorder are nice guys

and get an ion
cheap, but will do fine for woods->tourneys. Buy a spyder & you'll just have to upgrade to another marker.
But upgrade the ion with a better feedneck and that, and you've got a good marker.

thanx looks like an ion it is then i have put a package together on another website where would u guys advise buyin from thats cheap and good i got about £250 t0 £400 to spend on all me gear and should i run an ion on o2 or co2

running anything on oxygen is bad.

u mean compressed air, and yes. use compressed air, more reliable,consistnet and safer. co2 when compressed becomes a liquid, asit changes from liquid to air it creates an endothermic reaction...long story short, the faster you fire the less co2 comes out, then it freezes shattrering your internal parts.

air is cheaper in the long run, buy air.

If you put up a post in the classifieds section asking for all the kit you need you'll get 2nd hand stuff for a lot cheaper than you'd get it new.

If you're lucky you could prob find everything 2nd hand & save a lot of money

Or you can get deals like you say from shops like Just paintball or Gizmos.
