newbie northwest cheshire

Hi all

Newbie here in the Northwest.

I'm in cheshire and am trying to get into paintball big style but they dont make it easy! many of the sites as you all probably know are just corp fun day types. I've found a few walk on places such as on the edge events in congleton and warped paintball in the midlands?

are there any other places nearby?

Kit wise i was looking at the SP 8 anyone got any views? i'll be playing woodsball mainly and believe this is a good marker?

any suggestions on hoppers, ammo packs and fuel?

well if you want the is a tippmann that runs on propane.

I would say if your playing rambo as i did for too many years i'd leave the sp8 and get a tippmann.

Get a nice 4500psi air bottle as only mechanical markers will use CO2 plus most sites are getting rid of it and moving over to nice crisp air.

Were do you hale from?

There are 2 fields in manchester which are sup air. IT'S THE FUTURE. Like i said i played woodsball for 11 years (i really don't know why) and i have seen the light. Most sites that do walkons now are getting a bit expensive as they need to make money and as they are use to selling paint at 120 quid a box. I would suggest a trip down to proaktive or the northern quarter. Have a chat with millenium man and markie c. They will possibly help you out with getting some kit together.
