Hi,
I inherited a Sheridan from a friend who died and am looking to start using it. I usually rent because I'm afraid to take my gun and have it break down. I'm a relative newbie and have never worked on my own gun.
The only info I have on my gun is:
1) Positioned just above the handle and just below the bolt it says "Benjamin Sheridan - RTS. 5 & 20".
2) On that same part of the gun, but further down between the bolt and the hopper, it says "V - Series .68 CAL PAINTBALLS ONLY"
My questions are:
1) Is it possible to see a diagram of my Sheridan and all its parts (do you know of a url or do you have it yourself)?
2) What do I need to prepare for at the field? What can go wrong that I can fix?
3) What spare parts do I need?
-where can i buy them?
-how much can i expect to spend?
4) It's been a while since the gun has been used, are there any parts I should probably replace before going on the field?
5) What tools should I have?
6) Should I totally strip it down and oil everything?
-Do I need any kind of special oil?
Thanks for any assistance you can provide
Don
