Hi folks,

Just a quick message to introduce myself to the forum and hopefully get some advice on taking up paintball.

I’m looking to attend a walk on day and so I’m looking for some information on when and where they are in Scotland (I’m from Fife). Also I don’t own any equipment at the moment, is it possible to borrow gear just to get started or do you need your own kit?

Thanks,
JB

Kincraig,Scottish Highlands.
Welcome along.Im just up the road from you in the Highlands. Not sure what sites are available down yourneck of the woods, but pretty much every site will have rental equipment that you can use,and a lot of regulars are usually more than willing to give you help and advice.

Avoid Bedlam/Delta sites (anything that offers group on deals generally) - massive rip off who, bizarrely, discourage players wit their own kit... Look for privately owned sites with good reps. Battlegrounds 15 miles West of Aberdeen is great if you fancied making a day of it, not too sure what's down your end. Most sites will give you walk on prices without your own kit and its a good way to meet people and check out their equipment so you know what you want to buy when it come to that (which it will!) Good luck.
