Could be @ an established tourney or sumthin.

My local field usually does one or two rookie/nov-only tournaments a year. They get a pretty good turn out and they're a lot more fun to ref. I've never had a rookie team cuss me out for a bad call

We usually have some home teams available to help out the rookie teams the week before the tournament.

Just wait until they get more experience, then that will soon change

Seriously tho, we need to get more players into the game and this would be the ideal start needed. Maybe go bigger and better and do a league around the country (sorry, got all excited and started dreaming again )

I would do something like that, but it would have to be fairly cheap and small format (3-5 man) as this would encourage more 14-18 year olds to play.

Def would love to see newbie/rookie tourneys or specific get togethers, the more the merrier. Admittedly several sites already run days that will cater a bit for those (ahem) newer to the sport, see Sparklies in Maidenhead for example, but for just the new folks would be cool. You'd get me anyway!

BTW anyone know of a Sparklies academy stylee thing happening anywhere sensibly near Manchester.
Would LOVE to travel down to Sparklies but y'know the invisibale and non-existant car is in the garage at the moment.

Then the DUPS would love to blood some Newbies at an event like this. Limited paint might help make it cheaper too.

If anyone is interested in running an event like this then we should be able to raise a team.

Hey Chair Chimps-

Where bouts in manchester are you from, Im near Oldham- Im sure you can get a train from Victoria or Picadilly station or if worse comes to worse then u could possibly get on a coach down there which in the long run could save you some money.
Have u only just started paintballing??
