Hi guys and girls,

My names Dale im 18, im based in Cornwall and looking to start up the sport once again! a couple years ago i brought my very first marker which was a pmr 07 model i think and i was so happy as i would be as it was my first marker but then had to sell it as times was hard and iv eventually got myself back on my feet now and looking to seriously take up the sport again. The only problem is that i used to live in Devon but just moved to cornwall a couple weeks ago and as far as i know there are no teams or anything around this area such as walk-ons etc but what i really would like to do is meet a few people around here to show me the ropes and get me started. I've been paintballing a few times like walk-ons and that and really enjoyed it and seemed to just go with the slow and kick some ass left right and centre and the main thing is that i really enjoyed it. Im annoyed that i didnt properly start the sport a couple years ago when i had my first marker, hopper etc but yeah.. lifes a ***** sometimes So if anyone is around this area or any tips on markers and gear then please let me know! Thanks

Hi Dale,

Do you remember Syd of the NSPL based in Devon? I believe hes doing a winter series for individules this winter back in Torquey if you fancy giving that a blast!

Unfortunately he hasn't posted it on p8ntballer, but if you search for nspl paintball on google you should be able to find the forums

I can't say i do im afraid but does sound interesting! i will have a look Can you rent markers and gear there or do you need your own?

Torquay is a fair drive from where i am also, I've tried looking everywhere for teams around my area but it doesn't look to promising at the minute

Ohh yes i do remember syd from when i was starting up a few years ago, He runs and organises most of the tournaments around the Devon area right?

Sadly, it looks like Syds NSPL winter series is a non-starter....
sadly, you're a bit in the hinterland, and will have to trvael to play tournies..

Yeah i couldn't find anything on that forum.. and yeah it kind of seems that way really! But that's not going to stop me getting involved in the sport and start playing at tourneys, the saying goes where there's a will there's a way

Would be ideal though if there was people in my area in the same boat but the chances of that is very slim lol thanks for your help guys!
